Information you choose to share
The contact form collects your name, email address, inquiry topic, message and confirmation of consent. Please keep your initial request brief. Do not submit medical records, diagnoses, payment information, or another person’s private details. A prayer conversation can be requested without including the circumstances in the form.
Why we use it
HEC uses your information to respond to your inquiry, discuss participation or volunteering, and coordinate requested registration details, access conversations and event arrangements. The form does not enroll you in marketing. We do not sell your inquiry information or publish contact messages on the website.
Who can access a request
Messages are delivered to the HEC contact mailbox and may be handled by authorized team members and the hosting and email providers needed to operate the service. Relevant details may be shared with people arranging an event when needed and discussed with you. We may disclose information when legally required.
Cookies and technical information
The contact form uses an essential first-party session cookie to protect submissions. It is not an advertising cookie. Server logs may contain IP addresses, request times and technical errors. Abuse prevention uses a keyed hash of an IP address and stores rate-limit records for approximately one day. This site does not install advertising trackers, external font services or behavioral analytics.
Retention and security
We retain correspondence while handling an inquiry and necessary follow-up, and as needed for event administration, applicable recordkeeping or resolving concerns. HTTPS, access controls and form protections help protect information; no internet service can guarantee complete security. We do not retain submitted message bodies in a separate website database.
Your choices
Contact info@hec-nc.org to request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted, or to withdraw consent for optional further contact. We may ask for enough information to verify the request. Records may need to be retained for an ongoing arrangement or a legal requirement. Additional rights may apply under the law relevant to you.
Adults and future changes
The retreat program and this inquiry form are intended for adults. Please do not submit personal information about children. If website practices change, we will update this notice and communicate material changes affecting ongoing arrangements where appropriate.
